North Arlington Water Main Extensions

Posted on January 31st, 2010 by North Arlington in News

PVWC is planning on some water system improvements within North Arlington during 2011. The work will include about 6,000 linear feet of new 12” diameter piping located in three separate areas of the Borough. The new piping, including a new supply interconnection along Belleville Turnpike, will improve system flow and pressure and also improve water quality through better circulation. The location of the proposed work is presented in blue on the attached map.

PVWC has already applied to the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection for a loan to finance this approximate $1.2 million project. We therefore would appreciate any comments or concerns you may have about the proposed routes before we begin our surveying work (probably within the next few weeks).
