Do you have questions about HIV/AIDS? We can help!
The North Arlington Health Department will be holding HIV counseling and testing on October 29, 2015 between 10:00am-3:00pm. Screening will take place at the North Arlington Health Department at 10 Beaver Avenue North Arlington, NJ.
As you may know, the Borough of North Arlington will be conducting our town-wide garage sale on Saturday October 17 and Sunday October 18. Attached below is a list of participating addresses. Please check back regularly as we will continue to update this list!
The Wellness Assessment Van for Elders (WAVE) is coming to North Arlington!
The van will be in town on Tuesday, November 10, from 9:30am - 2:00pm at the North Arlington Health Department located at 10 Beaver Avenue.

What is the Respite Care Program?
This program established by Chapter 119 of the Public Law in 1987, is designed to provide relief and support to the unpaid caregivers of frail elderly and disabled adults. The Program provides services for elderly and functionally impaired person to relieve their caregivers of the stress arising from the responsibility of providing daily care. Services in Bergen County are coordinated by the Bergen County Department of Human Services, Division on Disability Services through funds provided by the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services.
On Thursday, September 17, the North Arlington Health Department, in conjunction with Clara Maass Medical Center, sponsored a free Lunch and Learn program, “Counting Sheep to Get to Sleep?”

The girl's recreational basketball league 2015-2016 season is coming up!
Registration is open to all North Arlington girls in grades 2-8, and will begin on Thursday, October 1, 2015. It will be held in the North Arlington Recreation House (in front of the softball field) at 96 Schuyler Avenue, North Arlington.

The Borough of North Arlington would like to welcome all to our annual Halloween Costume Parade and Trunk-or-Treat on Thursday, October 29, 2015.
The parade will assemble at 6:00PM at the corner of Bergen Avenue and Ridge Road, and will step off at 6:30PM.

The North Arlington Education Association invites you to our first inaugural Back to School Health and Wellness Fair.
Please join us on September 18, 2015 in the NAHS cafeteria from 2:30-6:30PM. Many local organizations and specialists will be there to provide you information on all things well-being, including nutrition, exercise and senior care. Volunteers from the North Arlington Public Library will also conduct story-time for the children to promote proper nutrition.

The North Arlington Health Department, in conjunction with ShopRite of Lyndhurst, presents a free program, “Healthy Eating on a Budget”, on Thursday, October 8, 2015, beginning at 12 Noon, at the Senior Center, rear of the Health Department building at 10 Beaver Ave., No. Arlington.

With a larger than expected response to date, borough officials continue planning for North Arlington’s first ever Town Wide Garage Sale. This event, scheduled for Saturday October 17 and Sunday October 18 is being conducted in the hope that a community wide effort will result in more successful sales by borough residents while the community can plan to manage these events on one day rather than over multiple dates. All borough garage sale fees are waived for participating locations. Additionally, beginning the week of September 21, all registered locations will be listed on the borough website providing free advertising.
